THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our Angel Program this year. The response we received was overwhelming and we are thrilled to report we matched roughly 510 seniors!! Special thank you to the following:
* The volunteer Angels, for happily purchasing and wrapping the gifts.
* The Anoka County Armory, for hosting our gift dropoff and pickup for the 18th year in a row!
* Anoka and Sherburne County agency workers who delivered gifts to their clients.
* All others who donated their time, and/or other items after we'd matched all the seniors.
We couldn't do this without all of your help and holiday cheer. We appreciate you - thank you!!
Our fundraiser on November 9th was a HUGE success! We raised almost $2,000 through our dinner and raffle tickets. Thanks to everyone who donated and joined us - we couldn't have been successful without your support.

We are receiving numerous thank you notes from seniors who received gifts through our Angel Program last December. Our favorite quote so far? From a case worker who said, "He started crying when he saw the (tennis) shoes and put them on right away. You made his Christmas!"

Granny's Closet is a local, non-profit organization serving the needs of seniors and disabled people who receive government assistance. Partnering with both Anoka and Sherburne Counties in Minnesota, we host a warehouse site stocked with clothing, personal care items, and general household necessities to help county and agency workers fill the needs of their clients at absolutely no cost to them. We also provide Christmas gifts through our Angels Program to over 500 seniors annually. Our organization is staffed completely by volunteers, and we rely on donated money along with new and gently used goods to provide these services.
