Granny's Closet is in its 25th year of helping seniors and adults with disabilities in Anoka and Sherburne counties!!!  What started out as one person's personal mission to give to seniors in need at Christmas time has grown into what our fantastic program is today.  We thank all of our supporters and volunteers for your continued generosity & kindness.  Without you we would not be where we are today!

SPRING BASKETS - LOOKING FOR CLEANING DONATIONS

​Spring is here, and Connections Church in Coon Rapids is partnering with us to create Spring Baskets! They are collecting household cleaning supplies listed on Tuesday’s in April from 9a-3p. Their address is: 10936 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55448.

 

COLLECTIVE CARING - JULY


WOW! How great is this?!?!? The fantastic group at Ballet Folklorico Rosa Quetzal collected household cleaning supplies in July for Granny's Closet as part of the Collective Caring program. Not only do we have the best supporters but some of the cutest too! Thank you so much for the donation and stocking our shelves!

2023 Anoka Highlights: 
Thank you to all of the volunteers, Angel's, and the amazing community that made the 2023 Anoka Angel program such an success! Over 1100+ individuals were served from the Anoka Angel program!   We truly felt the love from everyone involved, we couldn't have done it without YOU!

We are so lucky to have The Landmark of Fridley be our Collective Caring Drive sponsor for February! As a bonus, they came out to our warehouse and helped us get organized for the year, look at these smiling faces!!
 

THATS A WRAP ON THE 2023 ANGEL PROGRAM! 

2023 Sherburne Highlights: 

Thanks to our volunteers who helped make this another successful year!!  We gifted 180 clients.  Many thanks to Guardian Angels for the use of their meeting room at Angel Ridge for drop off and pick up.  So many complimentary comments from our Angels thanking us for this program and that they loved being an Angel and look forward to next year!  

COLLECTIVE CARING - OCTOBER

Our October Collective Caring Drive was beyond a success with the help of St Andrew's Church and the Anoka Women of Today! New sweatpants and sweatshirts were donated to stock our warehouse for months to come. Thank you everyone at St. Andrews and Anoka Women of Today, we are so thankful for your support!

MADE FROM THE HEART


Thank you to Katrina, with District 287, and her students for the cute handmade bags and greeting cards. They made them so the individuals that receive items from Granny's Closet - MN can get them in a cute bag with a handmade card! The students recently learned how to crochet, and they even shared some fabulous dish clothes they made! We love the support and caring Katrina and her students have shown us! 

Panera Volunteers!
What a great group of amazing volunteers! Panera Bread managers from different cities across Minnesota came and volunteered at our warehouse In February. Thankful is an understatement!

Sadie's National Honor Society Donations!
We received some amazing donations from a local Andover high schooler, Sadie! Sadie collected items from family, friends and neighbor for Granny's Closet as part of her volunteer hours for National Honors Society. Her generosity is felt throughout our organization. When she’s not collecting donations for Granny’s Closet, she enjoys being an NHS member and figure skating!
 

JANUARY COLLECTIVE CARING

Our January Collective Caring Sponsor, the City of Circle Pines, dropped off some much needed cleaning supplies this last week! Additionally, they have offered to be a continuous drop-off site for new/unused household cleaning supplies! Sending a huge thank you to them for being such an amazing partner and helping us stock our shelves ☺️❤
